Jurists Chambers has advised on an array of joint ventures, mostly involving parties from a range of different jurisdictions and including agreements under a variety of national laws. Our Head of Chambers has been in-house Counsel in three cross-border joint venture projects, dealing with issues including inter-shareholder matters.

Jurists Chambers advises companies on all aspects of buying and selling companies and businesses. We advise buyers, sellers and financial advisers on both public and private mergers and acquisitions, and private equity buyers on privately financed deals. We have considerable experience in advising on private acquisitions and disposals of both companies and businesses across a broad range of sectors. We are able to provide sophisticated legal advice on all types of deal.

We commonly handle finance for private acquisitions and asset purchases. This work is at times complex, highly structured and leveraged, involving inter-creditor and security sharing arrangements. We represent a wide variety of clients in this area: industry buyers, venture capital and private equity funds, other types of equity investors, and arrangers and providers of loan finance at the senior, mezzanine and subordinated levels.
